We are thrilled to welcome back Jamaica Reese-Julien as a full-time urban planner and designer. She first joined Agency as an urban planning intern in 2020 and has contributed her “Jamaica-magic” to projects including the Franklin Park Action Plan, the Jersey City Open Space, Recreation and Community Facilities Plan, and the Medford Comprehensive Plan.
Jamaica holds a dual degree in City Planning and Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in Housing, Community, and Economic Development. Jamaica is passionate about designing spaces and systems that center community expertise. Her volunteer work with community organizations in Philadelphia focuses on housing stability and grassroots governance over public space. Before joining Agency, she worked as an architectural designer on several public libraries throughout New England. On the weekends, Jamaica can be found exploring Philadelphia with her dog, Junie, and attempting to finish craft projects.
Join us in re-re-welcoming Jamaica!
