We are overjoyed to welcome Rachel D. Alexander to Agency!
Rachel is an urban planner specializing in climate resilience, public engagement, and creative research methods. She is passionate about building public spaces that build ties between neighbors and connect people to their natural environment. She enjoys integrating her background in marine ecology and climate science to help communities realize their sustainability and resiliency goals. During her Master’s at Tufts, Rachel designed public engagement strategies for a local watershed conservation and used ethnographic methods to study the environmental health and public safety of a remediated landfill park in Cambridge, MA. Prior to Agency, Rachel worked as the project lead for placemaking efforts across the Longwood Medical District in Boston, MA. In her free time, Rachel enjoys cooking, keeping her house plants alive, and working on her latest stained glass project.
