Reimagining what residential treatment and support can look like for youth and families: 2026 ULI Americas Awards for Excellence Winner Parrott Creek centers safety, dignity, and belonging through integrating essential spaces, community representation, and trauma informed design.
We are thrilled that Parrott Creek Child & Family Services is being recognized, along with the project team: Adre (development lead), El Dorado (architect), and Walsh Construction. Agency led the landscape design for this multi-phase expansion development.
Parrott Creek reimagines residential treatment and support services for youth and their families by integrating trauma-informed design, ecology, and cultural restoration. The 22,410-square-foot campus is set within an 80-acre property and features programmed outdoor space alongside three primary buildings containing therapeutic spaces, residential bedrooms, shared learning areas, and a cultural ecology space. Developed in partnership with youth, universities, community organizations, and Indigenous community members the campus offers a model for how residential care facilities can center safety, dignity, and belonging.
