This Sunday, Eamonn Hutton and Rhiannon Sinclair will be speaking at the HarvardxDesign Conference, ConflictxDesign 2020! They will discuss what it means to plug into communities as part of the planning process in order to design spaces where visitors can truly unplug.
“Now more than ever we see existing conflicts further divide and incite us, and new conflicts arise and confound us. We will explore how design has provoked and reconciled different themes of conflict. We’ll engage with thinkers, artists, creators, and leaders from across disciplines and sectors.” – ConflictxDesign
Eamonn and Rhiannon will participate in the Conflicts in Living Lightning Talks and Panel, alongside Brian Ho (Sidewalk Labs), Ariel Avila (Sonder), Mona Hakky & Jesse Kaddy (Wayfair), Kaave Pour (SPACE10), Ana Pinto da Silva (Minka Homes & Communities), and Jeremy Barre (Getaround), moderated by Megan Nesbeth (Frog Design). Conflicts in Living is at 10:00-11:45 AM in Piper Auditorium, immediately following the opening remarks.
ConflictxDesign is taking place on Sunday, February 23 at Harvard GSD, Gund Hall. Buy tickets here!
