Join us as we talk about the future of landscape architecture at the AIA New York’s Oculus Book Talk event on May 14th. Details on the event follow and tickets can be purchased here!

On the 50th anniversary of Ian McHarg’s 1966 “Declaration of Concern,” the Landscape Architecture Foundation convened acclaimed practitioners to ask what the discipline should achieve in the future. These proposals and reflections were captured in The New Landscape Declaration: A Call to Action for the Twenty-First Century (Rare Bird Books, November 2017). On May 14, landscape architects Kate Orff, Gina Ford, and Ken Smith will discuss their – and others’ – contributions to the book in a panel discussion moderated by Gayle Berens, a senior advisor for the Urban Innovation Network.
