Systems Thinker: Urban Planner/Designer (Entry and/or Mid-level)
Agency is actively seeking an urban planner or designer with an interest in urban systems, spatial planning, and community engagement. We are looking for a team member who can synthesize data into clear ideas; use maps, diagrams, and imagery to tell a beautiful story; and help craft meaningful community engagement strategies. The urban planner/designer role includes interdisciplinary teamwork, direct client engagement, and relies on strong skills in ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite, graphic communication, research, and writing. Digital modeling and graphic design familiarity are desired. Candidates with urban planning, urban design, geography/urban studies, architecture, or landscape architecture backgrounds welcome! Site Builder: Landscape Architect/Designer (Mid-Level)
We seek a landscape designer or landscape architect with strong design and technical skills and a passion for the public realm. We are looking for applicants who are organized and detail-oriented, love to sketch ideas, iterate design alternatives, and enjoy working in teams. Specifically, we are searching for an individual with 3-6 years of demonstrated experience in built work, including developing construction documents and participating in construction administration. A technical understanding for current construction methods are important, as is an understanding of project processes from concept to construction. The position requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino (or another 3D modeling software).
The role will require a commitment to consistent collaboration and communication within our team and our design partners as well as the desire to engage in mentorship, dig deeply into material and technical research, and problem solve.

City Engager: Intern Urban Planner/Designer – Summer 2022
Agency is seeking an urban planning or urban design intern for Summer 2022. Intern projects may range from downtown public realm planning to neighborhood plans to open space system planning. The role will include writing, research, data analysis and mapping, community engagement opportunities, graphic communication/visualization, and storytelling. Agency is a passionate and hands-on team; the internship role will include opportunities to learn and work closely with all team members.
Place Maker: Intern Landscape Designer – Summer 2022
We seek an intern landscape designer with strong graphic skills and a passion for the public realm. We are looking for applicants who love to sketch ideas and visualize them, iterate design alternatives, enjoy working in teams, and want to learn about construction documents. The role will require a commitment to consistent collaboration and communication within our team and our design partners as well as the ability to dig deeply into technical research and problem-solving. Strong abilities in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and digital modeling are required. Fluency in Revit is a bonus.
