Jill Allen Dixon joins Agency as a Director, Planner
With past collaborations with Agency leadership on the High Line Canal Vision and Framework Plans and City-wide Game Plan Update in Denver, Colorado, the Gulf State Park Master Plan in Alabama, the Sarasota Bayfront Master Plan in Florida, and the Raleigh Downtown Experience Plan in North Carolina, Jill has an extensive portfolio of parks and open space planning and deep expertise in urban resilience and community engagement. As a director, Jill will enhance our planning capacity while also expanding our human resource systems and benefits.
Jill Allen Dixon is a planner with a focus on the intersection of park/landscape planning, climate resilience, and public engagement. She has a passion for collaborating with communities to implement strategies that increase equitable access to parks and that grow greener, more resilient cities. Common to her work is a focus on bringing together diverse constituents to identify shared visions for places and open spaces. She believes that asking meaningful questions, providing accessible information, and listening carefully to responses will lead to creative ideas that advance multiple objectives.
At Agency, Jill is currently engaged in park system plans in Cary, North Carolina and Evanston, Illinois, and planning work at Washington University in St. Louis.
