Expressing Tangible Craft in Exquisite Detailing: Join us at this Year’s Online ASLA!
On Tuesday, November 17th, Agency will be side by side by some of our favorite designers – David Fletcher of Fletcher Studio and Maura Rockcastle of Ten X Ten – to talk about “The Exquisite Detail: How Big Ideas Get Expressed in Tangible Craft” at this year’s ASLA 2020 reVISION (an online learning experience). First up on “Design Day”, the panel promises, “Three contemporary designers and practice leaders will share the inspiration, grit, persistence, and craft behind their favorite recently realized details. These stories will explore how the big idea of a project finds itself in the smallest details of the project execution.”
As a teaser for this, we have shared one of three short stories we will be telling about Agency’s work to realize a signature park on the Sarasota Bay. Check out this video of the team, including Neda Mogavhar of Studio Ummo, talking about making a nest for people!
