We look forward to a series of upcoming community workshops for the Cary Parks and Open Space Plan at the end of the month!
Agency is working with Cary, North Carolina, to update their Parks & Open Space Plan, which will shape the future of Cary’s open spaces, parks, greenways, and facilities for the next 10 years. The parks system has been recognized with the prestigious gold-medal award from the NRPA. Our plan will identify how the park system can maintain its high quality experience, while also evolving to meet new community and climate resilience needs. We will plan proactively for the parks and open space, looking at opportunities to expand environmental access and education – high priorities for residents who have shared their feedback so far.
Join us in Cary to share your ideas for the future of the parks system! Bring your creative ideas and get ready to imagine what kinds of experiences you want to see along greenways, in parks, and across the open space network. For more information on how to get involved, visit the Cary, NC website. To learn more about the project, check out our project page.
We want to hear from you!
