In a packed room last month, Clayton, Missouri residents shared their ideas and priorities for the future of their city – from housing to public space and beyond. Driven by input from the community, and in collaboration with Toole Kansas City and Recreation Results, we’re working on the City of Clayton’s Parks and Active Transportation Plan (known as the Livable Community Plan). The recent public workshop was a collaboration with the City’s ongoing Comprehensive Plan, and the feedback shared will shape the outcomes of both plans. We heard loud and clear that the community wants to make it safer and easier to walk to parks in Clayton.
