Site Builder: Landscape Architect/Designer – Mid-Level
We seek a landscape designer or landscape architect with strong technical skills and a passion for the public realm. We are looking for applicants who are organized and detail-oriented, who love to sketch ideas, iterate design alternatives, and enjoy working in teams. Specifically, we are searching for an individual with 4-6 years of experience developing construction documents and participating in construction administration. The role will require a commitment to consistent collaboration and communication within our team and our design partners as well as the ability to dig deeply into technical research and problem-solving. Strong abilities in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and digital modeling are required. Licensure and/or fluency in Revit are a bonus. We strive for diversity in every aspect of work and we encourage persons from all backgrounds to apply.
Systems Thinker: Urban Designer/Planner – Entry Level
We seek an urban planner with an interest in designing urban systems and community engagement. We are looking for team members who can synthesize data into clear ideas, use imagery to tell a beautiful story, and – importantly! – enjoy collaborating on interdisciplinary design teams. Projects may range from large scale regional plans to downtown improvement plans to urban park master plans. Candidates with urban planning, urban design or landscape architecture backgrounds welcome! The role will rely upon capabilities in visual communication, writing, and storytelling as well as abilities to deploy strategic planning tools to map, analyze, and represent urban systems (community demographics, land use, transportation, urban form, natural systems, etc). Strong skills in ArcGIS (or other geographic mapping systems), Adobe Creative Suite, research and writing are necessary. Digital modeling and graphic design skills are desired. We strive for diversity in every aspect of work and we encourage persons from all backgrounds to apply.
Special Agent: Summer 2020 Internship
Agency Landscape + Planning is looking for driven, creative and collaborative interns to join our office for the Summer 2020 internship. Over about ten weeks, interns engage in a range of projects and work directly with project teams to dive head first into research for large scale regional scale projects, analysis of downtown riverfronts, and the design and visualization of inclusive spaces at the center of cities across the country. Agency is a passionate and hands-on team; the internship role will include opportunities to learn and work closely with all team members and the chance to engage with clients and project partners.
We encourage full-time students (returning Fall 2020) of planning, urban design, and landscape architecture to apply. Selected applicants will participate in a ten-week program in our Cambridge, MA office. All of our interns are paid on an hourly basis.
The application for our Summer 2020 internship is due February 24, 2020. Please send a letter of interest, a current resume, work samples (no bigger than 20 megabytes) and at least two references to hiring@agencylp.com.
