We are thrilled to share more about Agency’s four summer interns!
Aanchal Chopra!
Aanchal Chopra is an urban planning intern and Master’s of Urban Planning student at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. Prior to graduate school, Aanchal led the DE&I team and strategy for BCG in Australia and New Zealand and was a management consultant, working with public sector clients on disaster recovery, workforce strategies, and economic development. These experiences have informed Aanchal’s interest in how urban planning can contribute to more equitable and inclusive workplace experiences, which complement her interests in understanding how cities are shaped by changing work practices. Outside of the office, Aanchal enjoys running (especially at the local Park Run) and finding delicious coffee and baked treats afterwards.
Graham Moitoso!
Graham Moitoso is an urban planning intern and a recent honors graduate of Northeastern University’s architecture program. An urban designer and planner, they have previously worked in the public, private, and non-profit sectors in the built environment, focusing on transportation planning, community engagement, cartography, and graphic design. Graham is a lifelong Massachusetts resident and is passionate about mobilizing collaborative processes in order to co-create more equitable public spaces. Outside of project work, they enjoy volunteering with the Boston Food Forest Coalition and Hyde Park Neponset River Access Committee, watching movies, and exploring Boston by foot and bicycle.

She has experience in project coordination, office administration, analog modeling, and construction documentation of several built project designs. Hannah also maintains a personal art practice and has shown work regionally in New York City and Bridgeport, Connecticut. Hannah earned a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College in History and Literature with a minor in Visual and Environmental Studies. Originally from Colorado, she enjoys biking, running, photography, and discovering new music.
KG Upchurch!
KG Upchurch is a landscape design intern and a fourth-year Bachelor of Landscape Architecture student at the University of Georgia. She is interested in the relationship between the syntax of a site and its user’s proprioceptive sense, focusing on design as a way to encourage exploratory and playful use of space through movement. KG also likes experimenting with graphic notation and rendering techniques, and was shortlisted for Landezine’s 2024 Portfolio Competition. Outside of the studio, KG can be found teaching trapeze to students of all ages and abilities in beautiful Athens, Georgia.
