Welcome to Agency, Sophie!
We are excited to welcome Sophie Weston Chien to Agency as our newest Urban Designer!
Sophie is a designer-organizer, solving complex social-spatial issues by building communities and spaces to promote social and ecological justice. She has a background in architecture, government, and non-profits, and recently graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Architecture where she was awarded the Warren Family Engagement Award. Her approach centers community engagement, spatial thinking, and design activism for public spaces and public good. Outside of work she organizes with the Design as Protest Collective, travels extensively, and loves to make candles.
