A New Chapter Opens at Parrott Creek

This summer, Parrott Creek celebrated the ribbon cutting and open house of their expanded campus in Clackamas County, Oregon — welcoming youth into new homes and gathering spaces designed with healing, nature, and resilience at the core.

Agency is honored to lead the landscape design alongside Adre (development lead), El Dorado (architect), and Walsh Construction. Together, the team’s vision has been deeply rooted in youth lived experiences and trauma-informed design — drawing on the restorative powers of the site’s 80 acres of forests, creeks, meadows, and wetlands.

The buildings are complete, staff are in place, and youth are moving in. Next up: an outdoor multi-purpose court and sports field — spaces for play, creativity, family connection, and celebration.
We are so proud to support Parrott Creek’s mission to empower some of Oregon’s most vulnerable youth and families, and to steward the land on the ancestral territories of the Chinook, Kalapuya, and Northern Molalla peoples.

“What’s been created here isn’t just a new facility, it’s a complete reimagining of youth treatment. Parrott Creek is creating a space that prioritizes healing, dignity, hope and helping to shape brighter futures.” – Travis Taylor, a substance use disorder counselor at Parrott Creek.

“Our re-envisioned treatment center, grounded in trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices, represents a significant advancement in residential care for Oregon’s most vulnerable youth” – Simon Fulford, Parrott Creek executive director.
